We keep falling into an error when trying to connect her. We are trying to get one of our users set up at home on their Mac. I have the 22" Ultrafine and the 24" Ultrafine both running flawlessly with the M1 Mac Mini.Hello Everyone, was wondering if I could get some hep on this issue. Use the SIIG HDMI to USB-C adapter on the slightly higher resolution 22" Ultrafine. The reason I do this is because I want use of the thunderbolt hub in the back of the 24" Ultrafine via usb-c. Since the 22" runs through the adapter, its hub is nullified. I have two use cases: for work I go into VMWare Horizon Client at full resolution and do HiDPI on windows. Looks great, crisp and clear.įor pure Mac OS, I change the resolution to HiDPI on both monitors. Interestingly, the 22" Ultrafine will run at 2048x1152 HiDPI which I thought was 4096x2304 through the SIIG adapter. Anyway, both monitor looks fantastic in this mode, crisp and clear. Not the 'perfect' setup, but will the screaming fast M1 processor, its the best I can do today. Like others, I'm looking forward to 3 or 4 monitor support from future Mac Minis. Also, I can't WAIT for the new 14" or 16" macbook pros with at least 2x external monitor support via usb-c and not this hobbled HDMI + 1 usb-c support.1 VMware Horizon Client for Mac Installation and Setup Guide VMware Horizon Client for Mac 2106Ģ You can find the most up-to-date technical documentation on the VMware website at: VMware, Inc Hillview Ave. Palo Alto, CA Copyright 2021 VMware, Inc. 2ģ Contents 6 1 Setup and Installation 7 System Requirements for Mac Clients 8 System Requirements for Real-Time Audio-Video 9 Smart Card Authentication Requirements 9 Disabling the CryptoTokenKit Smart Card Driver 11 Touch ID Authentication Requirements 12 OPSWAT Integration Requirements 13 Requirements for Using URL Content Redirection 13 System Requirements for Skype for Business 13 System Requirements for the Session Collaboration Feature 14 Supported Desktop Operating Systems 14 Preparing Connection Server for Horizon Client 15 Allowing Access to macos Accessibility Features 17 Install Horizon Client on a Mac 17 Upgrade Horizon Client Online 18 Add Horizon Client to the Dock 18 Setting the Certificate Checking Mode in Horizon Client 19 Configuring the Certificate Checking Mode for End Users 20 Configure Advanced TLS Options 21 Configuring Log File Collection Values 22 Configure VMware Blast Options 22 Configuring Cursor Event Handling 24 Configuring VMware Blast Options for End Users 24 Configure Horizon Client Data Sharing 25 Configuring Sleep Mode Options 26 MAC Address Deny List 27 2 Using URIs to Configure Horizon Client 29 3 Managing Remote Desktop and Published Application Connections 37 Configure Horizon Client to Select a Smart Card Certificate 38 Connect to a Remote Desktop or Published Application 38 Share Local Folders and Drives 41 Open Local Files in Published Applications 43 Open a Recent Remote Desktop or Published Application 44 Using a Touch Bar with Server, Desktop, and Application Connections 44 VMware, Inc.
